Do you have an audio interface to get the audio into Cubase?

Something that will allow the audio (whether an analog or digital signal, depending on what you're using) to get to your computer.

A stock sound card is a simplistic (though generally, rather crappy) interface.

If you have one, everything else is in the Cubase manual.

You can use that as the interface if I remember correctly. Just plug it into your PC via USB and plug your guitar into it.

Then, setup Cubase to recognize it as your input for audio. Plug speakers or headphones in phones into the output to hear it and playback.
