Hello all..I am having problems configuring my mixer with my mbox2 and laptop. Protools starts all well and done but as soon as I create a new track I can not playback and hear the track at all. I have my mbox patched from the 1 and 2 inputs into the mixers outputs but not sure which outputs should be patched into the mixer. Would any of you pros give me the configure sequence for this system that i have here. I am inputing all my instruments into the mixer...guitar, mic, piano, bass and nothing in the mbox. Hope to hear with your recommendations...

I would suggest that if the mixer has a group or sub output you use that for sending to the 1/2 inputs of the Mbox. Then simply route the outputs of the Mbox back to say channel 11/12 of the mixer and your all set.

Then you simply assign whichever input's you want to record from the mixer to route them out the group or sub outputs.

I did all that actually and nothing is recording. My inputs are the same prior to connecting the mbox and was using krystal and had no problems. I am not sure why I am not able to record or playback.

You have the correct driver's selected in the audio options section of PT? And as well you are assigning them correctly in the track view input and output section's?
