What's a good way to talk to someone in the booth?

Well I finally got the vocals working and everything seems to be in order. Now I just need to figure out how I can talk to someone that's in the booth. I've seen some headphone amps that promise this feat, but they only have like 2 phones jacks. Any advice?

If you have a free channel on your mixer, just plug in a mic. Use the same signal routing as their mic or instrument and talk to them. Make sure you turn it down/off during takes.

Exactly as stated, I do this for vocal takes. I plug in a mic in the control room, route it through the same outs as the singer and simply mute\unmute when we need to chat.

And have a look. Depending on the mixer, some have a talkback mic built right into them.

I plug in one of the Karma Micro's into the board directly... works perfect because of their size.
