Raising master vol level in ProTools 7

I am trying to raise the overall level of all of the tracks. Everything is mixed to my liking, I just need more dB's overall. I made an attempt to arm a new track as "master vol" I think, and it does nothing for me. even trying to add some plug-ins to this track dosn't change the sound at all.

Any tips or hints would be very much appreciated.

take your master and put it through a limiter, that can add a few dB. I dont know anything about protools but im sure there is a limiter plugin for it somewhere.

PT doesn't have a master buss? I'm sure it must. And I would assume it has a pluggin that you can simply add to the master buss as Mack stated, something like the Waves Ultramiximizer or Cakewalks VC 64 with give you a level boost on the stereo output and allow you to hit the limiter at what ever level you choose.

Create a new track called Master Track, that will create a Master Fader, the Master Fader of that track will have assigned outputs (normaly Analog 1-2) it will only modify the level of the channels which output is routed to the same outputs of the master fader (in this case Analog 1-2)

The other option is, in every Protools session there is a default group which you can look in the group tab in the mix window, called "ALL" activate it by clickin on it, this link all of the faders in the session, and you can lower or raise one of the faders and all of the other will follow mantaining their relative position.
