Thought maybe I could get some help from here. We have multiple DVD's of our band playing live at different functions. I would like to take a song from the DVD so I can put it on YouTube. What's a good cheap[if not free] software I can use to cut a segment out of an entire performance and get it ready for YouTube??

May 21, 2008 10:08 am movie maker comes with windows XP.
Should be on the pc already, if you're on windows.
moviemk.exe is the file name.
It may rip from DVD, or maybe not. I'm not sure.
There should be several free DVD rippers available on the net.

May 21, 2008 10:09 am if you want much better, but not free, vegas movie studio has gotten a very good rep from the guys on the reaper board. around 80$us for a CD, or a little less for download only.
Macs have the iMovie, and iDVD, which I think comes with the mac, though I'm not sure about that either.
