Besides the 12 high end mic pre's I love the 4 headphone out with seperate control and the fact that you know the mackie controller will work well with it :) Really, this thing is about 100% perfect for my usage, I run into issues with only 8 channels from time to time and this would also give me the option of more close mics for the drums.
Nice piece of gear.

I basically run the mics in, have no outboard gear or mixer and run the mains to my monitors. My setup is extremely simple.
I may be missing something though, what would I\you need the patchbay for?
Apr 17, 2008 09:17 pm In my case I have everything rack mounted and they are not light to move around. So the patch bays allow me to pretty much have every input and output hard waired and then I simply insert a patch cord to send what ever I want to wherever I want. It just make things more convenient to quickly patch an outboard piece of gear to somewhere.
