BR8 no display on screen

My son has a well used Boss BR8. Now when he powers up he gets no screen message. The track selector buttons 1 3 5 6 light up red.
Any ideas?

Apr 07, 2008 07:01 pm Gah...Sounds like the LCD panel has a glitch (or worse). Is it under warranty?
Might want to try a hard boot/factory reset if you can. I gave up on recording with my Br532 because of glitches (like it suddenly losing my 24 tracks...).
I still use mine occasionally as an effects interface for digital input.
