Xv 5050 and Protools

I have my 5050 set up in pro tools, and I am running stereo out from rack..I set the inputs yo stereo in a instrument track. When I I switch midi channels all the sounds play in each midi track..How do I get it to were I can play the midi channel I select and not all of them at the same time.
