Check the Windows recording mixer (under Options in CEP) to be sure that the input you are using to record your vocal is selected, and that "Wave Out mix" is not selected.

Hey i'm sure this isn't new, but i am using a laptop and trying to record guitar and vocals into CEP. when i record the guitar it's fine (apart from crappy noise from cheap equipment) but when i try to record the vocals while listening to the guitar, the first track just re-records on the second track, mixing them together. Is this likely to be something i can change in CEP, or is this just due to a cheap laptop/SC?
