Hi, im having trouble exporting audio in SX3. I set the markers to the correct place and make sure no tracks are armed but whn i select 'export audio' i get a 'serious error' message saying i should rename the track and try again.
I have searched the forums but to no avail!!
Any help would me much appreciated as its the first song i have recorded (spent hours on it) go to mixdown and it buggers up!!
Cheers

Jan 10, 2008 04:49 pm I've had this before.
Cubase is just crashing. Most likely a memory issue.
Since i upgraded to 4 gig i've never had this problem again.
I hate to state the obvious but ...
1) Re-install Cubase
2) Make sure nothing else is running when you run Cubase.
Some general house cleaning would be advisable too.
You can get clever and allocate more memory to Cubase.
I'd need to know more about your PC Specs (good idea to put them in your profile)
Jan 11, 2008 07:12 am Hi, thanks for getting back to me. My pc has a 3.4 Pentium 4, i gig of ram and im recording everything through a Tascam FW 1804.
Ive reinstalled a few times, done loads of house cleaning and disabled the sound chip on my motherboard etc.
How would i go about allocating more memory for Cubase? Ive been trying to get this sorted for about 4 days now.
If i dont get this sorted today im going to format my harddrive and start again at the weekend, i really would prefer not to though!!
