ok, guys, don't be too critical of our playing in this video. The beers and tequila's were are ready flowing pretty good by the time this was shot. Anyways, this a few of us doing a couple of cover songs (Shine and Lager and Ale).

Jan 05, 2008 08:14 pm Nicely done for sure. Looks like it was fun though. Who was the younger guy on bass? He looked to be enjoying himself, as did the singer.
Doesn't sound like the beers had a bad effect on you though.
Good clean fun though.

Jan 05, 2008 09:30 pm The "young guy" is our new bass player. Blake (our previous bass player) is always out of town because of work. The singer that you saw in "Lager and Ale" is actually our drummer. The drummer during the song was my buddy James who is the drummer for Big John Bates and the Voodoo Dollz. www.myspace.com/bigjohnbatesandthevoodoodollz
Actually we did recruit another memeber for the band. Colin (don't think you can see him in the vid) will now be joining us full time. He is a really good acoustic player and his talent is really welcomed as it allows us to do our own music live. (all our songs need 3 guitars so we haven't been able to play it live in the past).
2008 is going to be a great year for us. Things are starting to happen and with me attending AE school in a couple of days I will have access to a pro-studio.
I host this jam every year on December 27 and if any of you ever want to make a trip to Vancouver, you are more than welcome to join us for a great evening.
