I just got a mesa/boogie dual caliber 50 which has two 4 ohm outputs and one 8 ohm. I was looking around for a cab and now that i think of it, i dont mind much for the onstage visual, i want something more practical so ive decided not to get a 4x12 which would be hard to load and such.

Im looking at 2x12 cabs that can handle a 4 ohm output but i really dotn konw much about cabs at all.
Does anyone have any advice on the idea, or suggestions of what to get, arguments for oor against?

all info welcome

by the way im looking at the Traynor YCX212, which is kind of in my price range.

I use a Marshall 2x12,good tone + portable. You can mike up or not and when you want to hear it louder stand it on a box or amp stand. There are two size cabs each with 2x 75 watt speakers at 16 ohms each= 8ohms or can be used in stereo.

Traynor makes good cabs . The one I'm working towards filling currently has been around since the mid seventys, and looks pretty darn good, considering . Kind'a on a back burner 'til the band-thing came up again .

That Traynor you're looking at... Celestians, yes ? Ho'kay !

Traynor gear is certainly built to last,I've still got a YVM6 mixer/amp from the 70's.Gave it a blast last year on a gig the guys in the band thought it was great and had plenty of vol.
