Other than the title being a bit of a mouthful- would love some critique of my mix and the song in general. This is the ending track to a podcast story I am writing which explains the hubris laden ending.

Dec 09, 2007 04:21 pm First off I love the little horn stab thing going on in there. The lead guitar works very well also. I like the way you used the same kind of echo on the vox as you used in In the name of Paradise as well. The string part seemed to be very Beatles sounding in its tone and style. Nice touch there as well.
I think after having listened to many of the other tracks as well this one fits nicely as the ending track to the musical. I gotta say I love your voice in these as well and it seems to sit nicely even though at times it seems a bit loud, it really isn't in the overall scope of things.
Dec 09, 2007 06:17 pm Very nice job on the entire tune. I love the orchestration. Sounds very Beatle-esqe to me.
The only thing I can comment on as far as the mix goes, is I would pull the vocal volume back just a tad (but I am listening via some PC speakers, so what I am hearing may be compromised).
I really like the song though. I listened to it a couple of times. Good stuff!
