Using the UCA200

Hi everyone!
Does anyone know how to connect the uca200 to the xenyx 2442fx?. The manual isnt very specific.

From what I've gathered, the uca200 is a converter (think soundcard). this converts the audio signal (sine wave) to digital (bits & bytes).

So connecting cables from mixer mains output (l&r) to the UCA200 inputs (l&r) will send the mixer main L&R to the computer, through the UCA.

Also, if you want to keep the two signals separate, pan one channel of the mixer hard left, and a second channel on the mixer hard right. This will keep the two signals separate from each other, so you can mix them independently in your software.

When arming your tracks for receiving signal, tell the computer to make 2 mono tracks, instead of a stereo signal. this will keep the two signals apart from each other, instead of making a stereo wave file, where l&r signal are attached together.

I think inside your software, you will set your audio device to USB Codec, or something similar.

Oh yeah, plug your uca200 usb cable into your PC =).
