Monitoring question for Lexicon Omega

How come when monitoring sounds in direct stereo mode on my lexicon omega, on direct monitor mode, when playing, sounds only come out of the left headphone, yet on playback it plays into both ears? I know this sound stupid, but is this normal?

It is probably because you are only sending a signal to one single input of the Omega. And if the monitoring section is set to do so it will only monitor that one side. I normally monitor through my application which is Sonar and it allows me to center the signal of a mono track and thus hear it in both sides of the phones or monitors.

So yes, depending on the set up of the Omega it is normal.
