I've never played on that Korg, but the feel of the Axiom is great. M-Audio makes good products. As does Korg. I'd go to your local guitar center and feel the keys and pads. And if you need more pads maybe the Korg is the better bang. I would personally go with the Axiom from experience. Good luck.

Both of these keyboards will do the job nicely. The Korg has a few extra trigger pads, not sure how tough they are though as they are the thin film type of pads and could easily wear out. The M-Audio unit however has assignable aftertouch were as the Korg has no after touch. Might not be important for your needs. Both are velocity sensitive which is a good thing, the M-Audio is also semi weighted for a little heavier feel while playing. Not sure about the price difference either. But the M-Audio might be my first choice if I were buying it.

A small pie will soon be eaten

I'd say M-audio, but for no other reason other than i have one www.homerecordingconnecti...ct=MDOKEYSTAT88

By the look of the Korg though, i think you're in a position where you can't make a wrong decision either way.
