Apr 02, 2007 11:09 pm I guess the question is really what exactly do you want the midi keyboard to do? Do you want to trigger drums sounds, samples or play full on keyboard parts?

Apr 03, 2007 12:06 pm i want to do both, use the trigger pad to trigger drum sounds etc, and use the keyboard for instruments,, synths.
Apr 03, 2007 05:16 pm i would say get the pad separate, u can do more that way
and a snyth i would highly recomend on a bugget, but still amazing, is the micro korg, but im not much of a synth guy, but a guy in my old band was ;)
someone else probably knows more :(
i think noize, ur a synth kinda guy? i think lol
eithor way, u know ur stuff ;)

Apr 11, 2007 05:05 pm Well it looks like the trigger pads on the Korg a bit tiny, but if you are dextrus enough that should not be a problem. If you can afford it having both would be nice as it will give you a dedicated controller for each function.
Apr 12, 2007 12:48 am I have been looking into one myself and I feel just as lost.My friend who has been playing keys forever said the M-audio stuff is nice.I think I'm getting the Axiom 49.Has weighted keys, and trigger pads.Check it out.
