Howdy All. I redid The Calling (Shortened the ending with a fade out and Solo, and pumped up the Bass guitar some, plus panned things a little differently).
Sabbat Nights is another song, what do you all think??

Sorry to leave this hanging so long.

Just listened to Sabbat Nights and liked it quite well. The mix is quite good, the only thing I would say is that at times the vocals don't seem to sit in the mix quite as good as they do in The Calling. The Calling is pretty damn cool, I like the guitar riff, very rocking. All in all I think you do great work.

I as well liked Sabbat Nights. The vocals were very good, the voice fits the song for sure. In the quieter parts of the song the verse mainly the guitar could use a little mid and high, unless you are going for that real bassy tone. The bass guitar is in need of some punch to cut through the rest of the mix. And the drums just need to be given a better spot in the mix. I think some EQ will really help that out. The synth parts were very good as well, but again were very bottom heavy, a little mid and high EQ will bring the synth track to life. The lead reminded me of old Frigid Pink.

The Calling, again I really liked the song. Did you tone down the synth part from the last time I listened to it. Again here the guitar is kind of heavy in the low end, but doesn't sound bad at all. And the vocal really holds its own in the mix. Drums and bass can still use a little fixing with some EQ. But I do like this song and think it has some very good potential.

Ok, pretty much universally I have been getting the comment on the mixes that the Drums are not sitting so well. Can you please give me an explanation of what you all mean, and how can I fix this?? (I know one way to fix it is to kick the drummer out of the room when it comes to mixing the drums hehe.)
Thanks
