KILLER LATENCY!!!

ive connected my mixer directly to the sound card on my computer but im getting some KILLER LATENCY!! when i record, my tracks are all a couple of milliseconds apart. [it makes everything so jumbled and off] WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!?

going by what you wrote in the other post--
check it out). Those digital-to-analog and
analog-to-digital converters in every card are
the most important thing going in and out, and
you generally get what you pay for.

Mar 04, 2007 12:22 am Reducing the latency buffer will help cure that. Also you might look at what drivers you are using, WDM and ASIO are preferred for reduced latency.
