So I have Cool Edit Pro 2.0 and im trying to get the M Audio Quattro send all 4 inputs into seperate recording tracks. The Quattro is set to MME (as opposed to ASIO) but it doenst seem to say that there are 4 possible inputs, only left or right or stereo. its like its only using 1 out if the 4 or something? so can anyone tell me how to make it use all 4 inputs(and outputs)?

I am not sure if Cool Edit 2.0 can do it or not. I would imagine that it can. You may want to check and make sure you have the latest drivers installed as that is now a legacy product which is no longer made. I am assuming you bought it used with the original driver disc? If so then you will want to go to M-Audio and download the latest drivers for sure. I do not recommend using MME drivers at all as they are the very bottom of the barrel really. They are an emulated driver and won't even come close to WDM or ASIO drives which should both be supplied with the Quattro unit.

But I definetly suggest updating the drivers as if you are not seeing at least a combo like 1/2 and 3/4 available then it appears the drivers are not installed correctly or fully.
