Hmmm...

What sample rate are you setting the session at vs. what does the UX2 support?

Figured I'd get the ball rolling.

*edit*
I pulled this (below) off the line6 site. I would first verify that your session is mirroring one of these bitrates. Although i have no idea what the 96KHz mode does it does not seem like you could run a 96KHz session using the UX2 as an input.

44.1 & 48KHz, 16 & 24 bit recording

96KHz mode with built-in sample rate conversion for simultaneous input and output

Hmmm... nothing on google. Might have to check with the LINE 6 and Adobe folks.

Here are a couple things to look at first.

Are you trying to start a new session when this happens?

Are you trying to laod a previously recorded session when this happens?

If you have not tried starting from scratch, that would be my advice to check and see that the UX-2 does indeed record and playback in a fresh project.

Then you can look into your allready saved projects to see that the bit and sample rates match up nicely. I know Audition can be picky sometimes, but another user here has a UX-2 running in audition so I dont think that is the problem here.
