Sonar 4 Drum sequence plug-in?

Hey guys, quick question....
Anyone know if there is some sort of sequencer plug-in for sonar 4? If so lemme know...
I find it a bit hectic having to make all my drum loops in Fruity loops (sequencer) and having to export it as a wav (forget using FL as a multi track) and importing them into sonar so i can finish my works!
Anyways, lemme know!
Thanks,
Jon

Um, Sonar is a sequancer. It has been since its very first version.

OK, messing with you there a bit. Yes, Sonar 4 is a sequancer and audio recording workstation. I think what you haven't tried yet is using the software synths supplied with Sonar such as Velocity drum synth/sampler and nPulse which is a true analog drum synth.

You simply need to open yourself a new project, or an old one if you need drums in it. Then open the SynthRack View and click on the add synth icon. Now choose the Velocity DXi synth and select to load the midi and audio track. Now you will see it create a new midi track in which you can simply double click to bring up the editing window to step write in your drum notes, or you can play them in via a controller. Then you will notice it will playback the sounds on the adjacent audio track.

So there is not need to have to go to FL for any f that. In fact, you may be able to see the drum synth you use in Fruity if it is one of the DXi type synths.

I dont see a Velocity Syth in my dxi synths....And I dont want midi, i have libraries of "One-Hit" wavs. Kicks, snares, hi-hats and what not...So i need to be able to upload audio tracks!

there is however, a "fl rewire" option, that brings me to FL...hmmm, anyways get back at me!
thanks!

Oh ya, absolutely use the ReWire option to FL if that is in there.

Otherwise yes, you can import and arrange your wave drum hits in an audio track if you like. Otherwise there is Cyclone which is a DXi that you can load the hits into and trigger them with midi notes as well.

But you should have Velocity in Sonar 4. I dont think it was limited to Sonar 4 PE only, I believe it was available in Sonar 4 Studio as well.
