Can't lengthen audio parts!

Hello,

I have cubase 1.06 and I've recorded some audio parts. I'm trying to resize them, but it seems that I can only shorten them, not lengthen! It seems that there is some kind of lock on the maximum length of the event. The event is NOT locked through "edit menu > lock" and the track itself is not locked either.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Gilad.

Not quite sure what your trying to say but try right clicking on the audio and going to: process, timestretch instead.

Is it SL or SX 1?

By resizing do you mean time stretching or just cropping?

Are you trying to reisize them in length as they are, or do you want to add more of the same riff to the length?

If it is just length, then CS has it spot on, you need to use the time stretch function. Otherwise you will want to copy and paste the event.
