If you read the latest issue of TapeOp Magazine, which you SHOULD, then you know what this is about, if not, Subscribe already...it's free...
The latest issue of TapeOp magazine (http://www.tapeop.com/) ran an article about books for recording enthusiasts, with small reviews and such. Since I know many of you read that magazine, as I do (obviously, since I knew about the article, I wanted to give you links to get any of those books you may be interested in. This links go to amazon.com, which also helps support HRC with commissions on the sales. So, the cynical person would look at this as part fund-raiser, part public service :-)
Look at it how you will, whatever the case, here's the links to the books listed. I have read a few myself and many are quite good. A good reference manual or knowledge base is never bad to have laying 'round the ol' studio. I find that more often than not, amazon.com is the cheapest place to buy books as well as many other things.
Enjoy!
