Though not a famous household name like his idiot (though talented) brother Sean, the rolls he played were always good, he did his job well. I liked his character in the comedy Corky Romano best, where he was a tough guy in a mob family that eventually gets outted as gay...pretty funny movie in a stupid, don't have to think type of way. He was in Reservoir Dogs and many others...and had an indie film that is scheduled to be released tomorrow.

No cause of death yet.

Jeez, he looks like hell in that picture. Sorry to see him gone. I liked a lot of his rolls.

yeah, no cause of death yet, but the picture speaks 1000 words...and the "rolls" might have been a good part of it sadly...

Americans really have to get a reign on this overweightness/obesity issue, it's really gotten bad...very sad. Time to start developing healthier habits...

You know I was just in Anahiem and went to the Outback Steak House. Now then, in Canada the average size steak is about 8 oz and larger ones are around 10 or 12 max. My jaw dropped when I saw the average steak was 12 - 14 oz. They even had a 20 oz steak. 20 oz!! Anyways, add a deep fried onion with dipping sauce(1600 cals), baked potatoe, bread and a couple of beers and you probably have a 3500 calorie meal with about 50 gr of fat. Anyways, my point being that restaurants have to focus on offering healthier alternatives because if I was trying to watch what I eat I would be limited to having one choice..... a salad.

BTW - we have a big problem here in Canada too. I'm not singling out the US. However, restaurants here are now offering a lot of reduced fat/calorie foods. At least if you want to go out and eat you have other choices than a salad.

Elementary schools have removed vending machines in hopes that kids will bring their own healthy foods instead of filling up on chips and other crap. It's a start.

He was also the farm hick in the movie Footloose that whats his name was teaching to dance in the pigpen. Funny scene even if it was a dumb movie.

BeerHunter, you are right though. If we go to someplace like Fuddruckers were they make a freakin 1 pound hamburger, Tuna will order that thing and a side of onion rings with a malt. And its pretty well gone before I am half way through. Now he doesnt gain any weight, but his time will come if he doesnt stop eating like that. But when the places you go out to eat at promote eating these gigantic meals you know damn well kids like him are going to do it.

On the weight issue, I am sure that a lot of the problem is derived from all the processed food - high fat sugars & salt, It seems to me that people have forotten what fresh vegetables and meat fish are about and hw to cook them. Now I like everyone enjoy a good burger or chinese take out but hey moderation. the only way to takle this problem is to eat a balanced healthy diet, which, includes all the elements. nothing should be taboo in eating but o it in moderation and in keeping with your daily life.

Now i can talk from experience. before i moved to france I was 250lbs eating rubbish a lot of the time as I was on the road all week (sales director) then when i moved i changed my work and went back to the tools - building trade- setting up my own business and eating fresher produce. in 7 months i lost 45lbs. yes by purely eating a balanced diet and having more of a physical activity.

sorry to rant on.

yeah, I agree as to why the problem exists, but that should get nobody off the hook.

I get bummed when I see sooooo many seriously overweight people in the mall, at work, etc, etc...I even get sad when I see a seriously overweight young child with them.

Come on people, why let you kid start life with such a preventable (in most cases) health complication.

I am not one to talk so much as I am a few lbs overweight likely (depending on which chart you go by) but some things are just so obvious...and so harmful.

You guys see that pic of the two kids eating at mcdonalds? The only skinny part of them was their wrists... that's a combination of gluttony and bad parenting, imo.

Yeah, with the kids I'd generally blame the parents...there is just no excuse for a kid not to be burning off calories like crazy...I wish I had 1/10th of the energy of the average 10 year old...

When I was a kid McDonald, Burger King, whatever, was "treat" we'd get every now and then, not a daily diet like it seems to be now...but hey, it's fast and convenient, damn the health risks, eh?

So, where is the blame to be laid, people, society becoming so fast paced (because people let it), or the food makers...well, I don't blame the restaruants, they just sell what people wanna buy, and nothing annoys me more than people that get lung cancer after smoking their whole life and wanna sue cigarrette companies, fat people suing McDonalds...

People NEED to be held accountable for the actions...or lack of actions.

Which is the bane of society today... people not taking the responsibility of their own actions. Pisses me off.

I say take the warning labels off of everything and lets see if "survival of the fittest" actually has any truth to it...lol.

ie: "Do not eat" - on gel dessicant...haha.

ha, you'd see people in the emergency room with a few styrofoam peanuts lodged in their throats. =)

Our house has occasional soda, but almost always, it is non-sweetened juice, with filtered water, or the juicy-juice brand, with nothing but juice.

Food and snacks are similar, mostly healthy (our lunches today has cherries, carrots, and apple in it) with occasional sweet, but sweets are around 10 - 15% of their intake.

I've seen mothers give their kids 5$ and send them to the gas station / party store for dinner. This amounts to candy, pop, and the like.

Same with smoking, I know people who are racked with ailments, having surgery, and wondering why it takes 6 months to heal. All the while smoking 1+ pack of cig a day.

Seems common sense is a rarity these days.

I see dudes all over the nursing homes... 70+ years old, hooked up to an oxygen tank and in a wheelchair sitting outside the home smoking a cigarette. hahaha.

When my grandmother turned 80, she basically told all of us who were telling her she needed to lose weight to take a hike. "I'm 80 years old and can do what I want"... lol. Funny part was, she lived till this last August (86 yrs old), and died of cancer, not natural causes. Evidently them twinkies keep you well preserved.
