Hi guys,

I'm having a problem - I'm using an MBox2 to record into Pro Tools and when I plug a mic into input 1 and arm the track it seems OK, but if I arm the track connected to input 2 I get a noise registering on the track meter, regardless if there is a mic plugged in or not. Any idea as to why this could be?

A good place to start is to make sure you have the current drivers installed. It is possible as well the driver install went bad or was corrupt.

One thing to try is to uninstall the unit and drivers and start from scratch with the newest drivers ready to install.

Otherwise it sounds as though it could be related to a possible bad input on the hardware itself.
