Rack 1 = zero, zilch, nada...

Not that I don't want to fill it up... I do have a rack, only an 1820M shelf-mount to put in it so far... Perhaps Noize has some extra "overkill" gear he could "donate" to the "Jmail Poor-man's Benefit"? hmmm... Soundmind has some quality stuff there, also...

Rack 1:
PE4 Parametric Equalizer (Peavey)
Ibanez MultiEffects (very cool)
Digitech DSP128
800w Stereo Power Amp (left in there from the gigging days)

Rack 2:
I actually only have one rack.
It just looked cool when everyone had "Rack2, Rack 3 etc."

The rest are all self contained units, or VST's.

Noize: You're a real gear slut.

Thats gear hore!

Rack 2 is about half empty by the way. As I said, DSP FX have replaced a load of gear which I pulled out and sold most of it. As well as the last analog synth is gone as well. Buried that one last Xmass, again because the software synth's have gotten so good.

Well honestly, I've only kept the stuff I use. And even some of that is being tested against new pluggins. The big rack was full before I really got using more new pluggin's and booting gear out as it got replaced by DSP. There are a few piece's I probably wont part with, but I said that about my Juno as well and even though I missed it at first I dont so much now. The software has gotten so good it hardly seem's worth keeping thing's I dont use anymore.

I can't spell.

I bought a rack when I planned on opening a commerical studio, premises fell thru so I only got in my rack:

Behringer Composer Pro MDX2200
Behringer Virtualizer Pro 1024

But, I got lots of other "non-rack" stuff effects wise so thats all fine n well.

I should point out I rarely use ma rack stuff...foolish indeed but software does a lot of it.

My rack has dimished to only three things, A yamaha compressor, and an old sampler, and a patch bay which I still can't figure out how to use. I pretty much went the minimalistic route, and got rid of all my unused rack stuff, as well as live gear. I used to have quite a bit of junk though

Michelle, they are becoming less full as the DSP stuff gets better and better. One is half empty now thanx to all the good pluggins these days.

dB, I never thought you'd notice. :-O
