Hey guys, ive been really interested in buying the waves gold plug in bundle but the only problem is that its $1000. is this bundle worth the $1000? also, are there any other plug ins/plug in bundles that are good for maybe like hald or 3 quarters of the price? I'm looking for a good compressor, good equalizer, and a maximizer like the li maximizer in the waves gold bundle. basically i just need a pack of really good plug ins to bring my recordings to the next level. my recording need more or a punch and a kick. thanks alot guys, any info you have would be great.

Dec 12, 2005 06:01 pm If you are willing to pay a few bucks, and want some REAL quality without breaking the bank, consider the Kjaerhus plugs.
FANTASTIC quality, masses of configurations and presets and some of the most analog sounding plugins I have heard on a PC.
I reviewed them recently here...

If you are willing to pay some bucks, consider these plugs WELL worth the money. Their free range also, kicks some serious butt...but, the "Gold" series is truly excellent.
However, the joy of these plugs is, you can download and try them for free completely unlimited until the demo expires...great offer.

I suggest hitting up KVR www.kvraudio.com and seeing what they turn up there.
You can narrow your search to find only Mac version type pluggins. They are a great resource for free stuff as well.
