Putting speakers near laptop....

Hey guys! Just a quicky this. I'm looking to re-arrange my tiny student room here, and basically it looks like I'll have to squeeze my speakers on to the same desk as my laptop, as opposed to being on stands. I just wondered, how close...is too close, before the magnetic field from the speakers starts playing about with things (namely the Hard Drive)? They're not powered speakers. They're just cute cubey little hi-fi type speakers. Cheers :)

I don't think I'd worry about it, being so tiny. Those magnets are really weak.

If they are PC speakers then they are generally always sheiled. It should not be a problem.

most laptop harddrive damages is because people move them while they are on.
