Regardless of whether you like the music, Jimmy Buffett concerts are the most fun! I am going tomorrow, just thought I would brag BEFORE the hang-over!

Jun 25, 2002 06:24 am Ya, I hope he comes to the Twin Cities, I'd go see that. I just heard The Who is coming in Sept, I would love to see them again, but as it turns out I might be in San Fransisco that day for training for work...Grrrrr...I might have to reschedule training...
Jun 25, 2002 08:02 pm Buffett rocks. I'm going to see Dave next month. Aren't concerts the best?!
Jun 25, 2002 08:03 pm Dave who? Lol... probably should have specified. Dave Mathews of course. Around here we're all huge fans (at least all the people I know) so if someone says "I'm going to see Dave" or "I just got a new Dave CD" we all know it's Dave Mathews... so it was just a habit for me. Sorry about that.
Jun 25, 2002 09:20 pm Dave? How how about David Lee Roth! ;-) does he have an ego, yup, does he have 'issues', yup, but dude, he rocks da house, what a great performer!

Jun 25, 2002 11:59 pm He still forget's the word's though. I have read some very scathing review's of the tour with Sammy. It seem's as though Sammy is now embarrased to be seend with him, and is looking for a way out.
Anyway, DMB rock's. I took my now 12 year old son to a Big Head Todd and the Monster's show, and Dave was opening for him. Go figure hu. Anyway, my son was about 4 at the time, I think it might have been a little B4 he was 4. Anyway, he still listen's to DMB to this day.
And Buffet, the party never stop's. I have seen him 17 time's. The show was differant every time.

Jun 26, 2002 11:50 am Its kinda funny that you mention Dave because I am gonna try really hard to see him in August when he comes around here.
The Buffett concert racked. I am still feeling the effects of the tailgate party of course...water please! But, we grilled some chicken, hot dogs, I drank a LOT of Bacardi Limon, and a good time was had by all. I actually remember the whole show this year, so I just had on my happy buzz, but it was defintely cool. And Yes, concerts DO rock. I think there is nothing better than seeing a band play live. As a matter of fact, if I see a band that I didn't really like, or maybe never even heard of, if they impress me live, then I'll go buy their cd. I think Primus did that opening for RUSH. I don't think most of the people there knew who they were, but you could tell that after that show people were goign to buy their cd.
ANyways, I bending the fin to the right now, until next year I guess. ;(
