Hello all, im working on my first recording and am learing many things as I go however I haVe quick question which Im sure can be found in the manual but I'll ask anyways. My recorded song starts of with drums then the bass comes in a couple measures later. I want to add an echo effect on the solo drums before the bass comes in then shut off when the bass and drum are together. How can I do this if using wavelab lite?

Nov 03, 2005 07:30 pm I only have limited knowledge of Wavelab Lite, so I may be wrong, but I do believe you need a mutitrack ap that will automate effects to get that done .
Somebody here will know for sure .

Nov 04, 2005 07:29 pm What mixing app are you using? You'll want to automate a send to a delay plug in.
Make an FX/Group channel and apply a stero delay plug in to it w. desired settings. Make sure the mix setting is at %100. Then take a split from your drums and write some automation that cuts the volume of the send as the guitar comes in.
Automate a wah pedal or filter plug in on the delay for some cool sounds : D.
