Just wondering the main difference between these 2 cards in terms of recording quality. The ESI is about 30 dollars more, so i dont want to spend more on something if i dont really need to. I just plan on recoring electric guitar one track at a time.

Oct 05, 2005 07:27 pm I have owned both, I switched to the Juli@ because it had a bit lower latency in ASIO and INCREDIBLY lower latency in WDM and an optical output.
In addition the Juli@ has a choice of 1/4" or RCA analog I/O. In terms of strictly sound quality, they were very comparible.
My take on Juli@ is right here www.homerecordingconnecti...tory&id=443

Oct 10, 2005 10:43 pm anthony, another thing to think of before buying is that rumor has it that M-Audio is going through some major changes. Dont honestly know if they will be good or bad. But I have to admit I loved the way they kept absolutely the most current driver files going, that sadly has fallen by the wayside these days. So looking at a company that will stay ahead of the game is something else to do. I have gone the same route as dB and switched or to ESI interfaces as well. I still own 2 M-Audio interfaces and they work great. I am just thinking for the future in my case.
