'Fear Of Falling Trees' - performed by myself and Tom Shotton (drums), for a limited time only, go have a listen and download it if you like, this isn't on the 'EPs and Others' compilation or my forthcoming record, just something in between, so blink and you just might miss it.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks fellas. The basic tracks (drums, bass, guitar and percussion) were all done in 2001 for this record i was making but never finished (it's all still sitting there waiting for string and brass overdubs) and someone lent me the melodica last week and this tune was in my head so i learned the brass parts on that instead and recorded the melodica, radio stuff and glock on the rough mix i'd done back then.

All those basic tracks are with dynamic mics btw, i'm really pleased with the drum sound, admittedly it was a £3K drum kit that was basically brand new at the time, but yeah, just four 57s, two overheads, kick and snare. I didn't have any condensers then.
