Hello,
I just picked up my first keyboard, a Roland GW-7, and my first set of monitors, Behringer Truth3020A's, 2 days ago and cranked out this song earlier today.
It started out as an instrumental mix but I added some vocals.
It's my very first all-original song and the first time I've ever used a keyboard, lol, so take it easy :)
Anyways, please give all comments/criticisms/suggestions.
Thank you!

Sep 18, 2005 11:57 pm Sounds like a great start brock. Keyboard sounds great and the song has real possibilities. Definitely keep working on it, needs a couple more minutes and fine tuning, would be a great song. :)

Sep 19, 2005 10:58 am i agree with olddog, from what i am hearing on my laptop- I will listen again when i get home-
has A NIN feel. is that a bullhorn effect on the vox. sound like you nailed it. I always have trouble using bullhorn comes out to tinty.
good job
Sep 19, 2005 11:59 am I don't know what the bullhorn effect is but it's basically this:
- heavy delay
- medium reverb
- light chorus
- light distortion
- doubled with a track cut at 1 khz and increased greatly from 5+ khz

Sep 19, 2005 03:32 pm tips like that- make the hrc such a helpful place- I have a few tunes that i may be able to apply those settings for the vox. The bullhorn is a preset effect on the br1600, but i can manually adjust settings
thanks
