Cubase - Problems with volume adjustment

Hey everyone,

I'm using Cubase. I have 5 MIDI tracks recorded in a project. The last ones are organ and drums. During playback, when I select the organ track, it generates the selected volume. But when I select the drum track, the organ truck's volume jumps! (seemingly to the volume level of the drum track). If I reselect the organ track, the volume is still wrong, and it comes back to the desired level only after I play with the volume meter.

It seems to be something with the inspector, because when I hide the inspector (using the button on the top left corner) the problem disappears.

Some data: it's cubase sx 1.06, the keyboard is a Roland EXR-3 and I'm using the "xg device" as a midi device. The channel for the organ track is set to 5, and to the drum truck - 10.

Any ideas?
