Delta 44 v Audiophile 2496

Well I'm dying to get into recording but i was under the impression the 44 would be best only reason i guess was the breakout box but the 2496 seems alot better on the budget. Is the 2496 good enough is there a large difference between the two or will the 2496 be ample.

Depends if you don't need S/PDIF digital inputs or MIDI, the 44 is groovy

If you don't need 4 analog inputs, I'd got with the 2496...they are made for different uses and have compariable quality and performance...

I'm going to be recording solo stuff probablyering each track one at a time ie record piano the record guitar the vocals etc. etc.

I want midi so I guess the 2496 is the better option?

between those two, yes, but, just to fan the flames a bit, I had a 2496 and switched to the ESI Juli@ and am much happier with the performance.

Am going with the 2496 for price and easiest to source.
