Let me clarify

I searched the forums and all, and just can't seem to find what I need. All I want to do is to be able to use Reason 2.5 on my HP Media Center m7100y with my Yamaha DGX202 keyboard. I don't even care about using my keyboard sounds (cheap anyway); just so I can use Reason's sounds on my keys and record that way. What would be an appropriate midi interface??

Thanks So Much.

OK, reply to threads, don't start new ones every time, which I am guessing you didn't do on purpose.

According to what I read, the Yamaha DGX202 has a USB plug, therefore, just plug it into a USB port on your computer, should just be a matter of installing some drivers from there. You shouldn't need a MIDI interface...just use your computers USB ports

Sorry about that. Thanks. Drivers huh. For the computer's sound card I presume..? I'm worried about how much I can enhance/upgrade with this HP.

I think you will need to go to the yamaha website to download drivers if they didn't come on a disk with keyboard.

Yes, drivers for the keyboard, so the computer has something to instruct it how to interface with the keyboard.
