hi just been browsing around and thought id try and get an answer on the equipment i use.

my equipment is an AMD 64 comp,
MAudio Audiophile USB Audio and MIDI Interface(Waiting for it to arrive),
Yamaha EMX 66M Mixer,
Yamaha Br15 Speakers,
Shure SM57 mic.
Recording software i recently purchased Adobe Audition
Jvc22 Karaoke Single Tray Player

I want to be able to be to put my CD+G disk in my player, sing along to the song and have the voice only going to one track and the music only going to the other.
I am interested in making this a hobby and would like to start learning how to tweak the individual tracks and end up doing a mixdown.

Do i have the right equipment or do i need something else?i really only see one rec out on my mixer and this concerns me.

thanks!

youve got easiy enough stuff there, yeah. i'd just play the file in audition, monitor with headphones and record the vocal track straight back into the pc though, personally...
