When trying to record with my edirol soundcard and sonar 3 im having a latency problem I think. Everytime I record it seems fine but then when I listen in playback it will skip around after a while. Just seein if anyone knows anything about this cause I cant figure it out.
thanks

Jul 25, 2005 03:06 pm Check your "Options", "Audio Setup", "Sytem" and the box it brings up, click the "ASIO Control Panel" from within the program itself and see what your latency is set to. You may have to increase or decrease it. Also, be sure you're using the Edirol ASIO driver, whatever its name is. And, last but not least, have you defragged your hard drive lately?
Jul 25, 2005 09:40 pm yeah all that seems to be good, and we just defragged the hard drive the other day. I think it might just be the sound card and not Sonar, because it doesnt just happen off our recordings but also on all audio we play. So im starting to think its something with the sound card or the whole computer. Any other ideas?
