Hey all, I have a buddy who wants to get Tom mics. Of course I told him to get Sennheiser 421's but they are out of his price range. Can anyone recommend some more affordable tom mics that still sound good?

Jul 15, 2005 12:45 pm My friend bought Samson 5 mic drum kit mics. I dont know about in your country, but in mine it was way cheaper then getting seperate mics i think it comes down to less than 100 bucks and you get 5 seperate mics designed for pieces of your kit.

Aug 02, 2005 01:51 pm I have seinhieser 421 MkII's and they work great. A little bulky for my taste those. I used to use, Audix D series tom mic's these worked really well, small in size.
