Hi there,
I've just bought a Boss BR-1600 CD Digital recording studio, and have created a forum for it. Feel free to surf by and join in on our dicsussions. It's early days yet, but I hope we can snowball it into something useful.

Dec 22, 2009 10:33 pm I have a Peavy VYPYR guitar amp and it has a USB jack. I want to play the amp and record direct into my Br-1600cd...but one problem, the USB jack in my amp and recorder is the same square-head input. Can I get a USB cord with 2 square heads on each end, and is it possible to record through my amp to my recorder this way? Any input would be greatly appeciated!

Dec 29, 2009 09:08 pm I do not believe you can record that way from the amp to the BR. The amp can be hooked directly to a PC as that USB port is basically and audio interface to the PC and it is made to record direct. The USB on the BR is somewhat the same, it is for transferring data but only that, not an audio interface.
