Sorry for not posting/listening to the forums lately...been busy as heck between finals and working on my first film score for a student filmmaker!

I just thought I might share some of my music with you guys if your curious to hear some stuff from my very first film score (this whole thing is important to me because I've been dreaming of scoring films for so long!)

Anyway, some background info about the movie: It's about a college student of Indonesian ethnicity who wants to be a film director. His parents, however, do not have any interest in his film studies because they want him to get a degree in computer sciences, considering that field has better job security. So he lies to his parents and tells them he's studying computer science when he's really going to school for film. In the end, he shows his parents a film project which he completed in order to graduate, revealing to them that he is majoring in film. They are impressed and everything is a happy ending.

So, for all of you who are curious to want to know how the soundtrack sounds...go to my homepage: www.xanga.com/bethjeremy

Once finals are over with, I will try to get back into the forums so I can listen to everyone's music from the past few weeks to provide some feedback to y'all! Till then, later!

I really enjoyed that, man. It's refreshing to hear a different point of view on music once in a while. I'm listening to the tracks for the second round right now. Good stuff for sure. Well thought out, indeed.

This is the kind of stuff I'd be interested in collaborating with sometime, maybe?

Keep it up and good luck with your finals.

Thanks Mike! Positive feedback is always nice.

As for future collaboration...SURE! I like your stuff as well!

The thing that sucks is that once I move back home for the summer, my access to high-speed Internet connection will be quite limited...However, I will still report to this forum as much as possible using my girlfriend's computer.

Cheers!

another moving auditory experiance!!

man you've got some talent!! you music BREATHES!! which is very hard to do with electronic stuff...it's a MUST for film though, and you have mastered it, the piano is wonderful, and the airy pad fits like a glove....to offer some critique, although i'm tempted not to, the melody with the single stringed (or wind) instrument is a tad dry compaired with the rest of the track....just a smidge more reverb and a slight roll off around 3-7k to take the edge off should do the trick, maybe even a different sound like a panflute or something....but you don't have to, it's YOUR piece, and i'm likin' it!

Lost for words with all to say.

I have always loved your stuff man! I also have a project coming up with music like this with some guest vocalist. I love to have like a Celtic twist to some of the tracks. I want to get with you and you do some tracks of your own to be included!

I love it, keep it up!
