Hey i am as we speak recording and i am getting an Audio Record Error when i hit record.

I have a feeling that it is happening because i have upped the tracks and the memory per channel needs to be adjusted.

I have lowered the tracks to 30 and it seems to be fine now, but once i need more tracks i fear that the problem will start happening again.

I am recording at 24bit 48kbps.
Any advice would be very very awesome.

Cheers

Sounds like your processor might not be able to handle more than 30 at that bit depth and sample rate, it might be your limit. The way i get round this is to build up song one and then save it again as song two and export the tracks in parts or as a whole (by way of rough mixes) to build up more, then i flit between the two sorting the parts out, comping, cutting some stuff out, editing, that sort of stuff, i usually find once that's done and i'm ready for mixing i don't have more tracks than the processor will allow me anyway, it's the tracking while i'm deciding exactly what will end up on the finished tune that takes up all the tracks for me, not the things that will actually end up on the piece.
Hope that's some use.
