My latest recording...

My latest song is up on my soundclick site...It's entitled Fallen Angel and it's origin is a bit interesting.

www.guitaristworks.com has quite a few members involved with home recording of original music...we had a little fun with something called Same song title Madness.

Basically, we put 5 song titles up to vote...the winning title was "Fallen Angel" and a whole bunch of folks are composing and recording tunes with this title...with the only similarity being the title...

So, this was my entry in the "madness".

Soundclick is down as usual, I'll check it out soon as it's back up.

Nice and simple! I kind of like it. I even like the "garage band" sound it has, though it's nothing a professional would like.

The only critique I can think of aims for the solo guitar...It needs to sound "brighter" and needs more phrasing rather than tying a whole bunch of phrases into a big ball of yarn...yeah, crappy analogy! (It's like, 4 in the morning as I type this!)

Other than that, I enjoyed it.

I can so see Alice cooper singing this!

I love the 'break' when the guitar/solo kicks in, some really nice work there.

Nice harmonies too

Is it just me or did the song finish a note short?

Good one Rasmuth, nice sound on the guitars and vocals. I think the solo's good, but I agree the tone could be a bit brighter, but still a good one. Good job working from a Title. :)
