Any idea when youll get a chance to post your review of the ESP1010 audio interface? Or maybe some interim comments?
thank you.

Apr 30, 2005 07:43 pm I am hoping to have it done sometime within the next week.
As for interum comments. So far I have run it on both my older PIII box and my newer Athalon XP 3200+ box. The driver install was much faster then my ESI Waveterminal 192M. And they seem a bit more stable in both WDM and ASIO.
I tested it against both my Delta, and the Waveterminal. The noise floor was below the Delta by a decent amount. And just a bit below the Waveterminal. I like the 2 midi ports, one out front and one in the rear, which gives you 32 channels of midi I/O. I also found having 4 of the inputs on the front a nice touch.
Hope that gives ya enough to start with.

Apr 30, 2005 09:07 pm Should be no problem. I run a sound Blaster as well alongside either my Delta 44 or my ESI Waveterminal and dont have any issues.

Apr 30, 2005 09:30 pm Excellent. Sounds like a ESP1010 is an easy choice over the Layla 3G. Im reading of people having bugs with the 3G.
