I know there has to be a way to set my Delta 44 up for live monitering while recording, but I can not figure out how. Anyone have any suggestions?

I think that you can choose from a couple of different ways to do it, depending on what you want to monitor.

I just got a mixer (same one that you have), so I"m currently just monitoring straight from there, which only lets me monitor the input signal and not anything that's happening on the computer.

Since you'll basically be bypassing you mixer on the way into your 44 (since you'll be using the preamp strip), you can just plug a pair of outs from the 44 into whatever inputs on your mixer. Then go into the delta control panel and select "wav out" on whichever pair of outs you sent to your mixer. Then in your software, tell it to output to whichever pair you set up in the control panel.

OK that didn't make much sense. Here's the short version:
- In Delta Control Panel route Wav Out 1/2 to HW out 1/2.
- Plug cables from HW out 1/2 on your breakout box to a stereo input on your mixer.
- Tell your mixing software to output to M-Audio Delta 1/2 (ASIO)
- Dont forget to click the "monitor" button on your track after arming it.

I think that should do it...maybe...it's hard to tell without sitting in front of my home computer to verify.
