Apr 07, 2005 10:35 am Ahh, Darwin is slowly at work again...
Apr 07, 2005 10:36 am I nominated my ex brother in law for a darwin, but he could only get an honorable mention since he actually lived.
He ran over himself with his truck...
Not the brightest bulb on the tree I might add...

Apr 07, 2005 10:47 am ha ha You smok'a too much, dude !
You actually nominated your brother in law !? LOL Did you tell him about it, as well ?
Apr 07, 2005 10:49 am no, I didn't, the next time I speak to him will be after getting my black belt...and there won't be a lot of talking.

Apr 07, 2005 10:52 am Images flashing through my head of an instructor throwing a black belt at a kid one time and saying
" all you want is a black belt? here ya go. $15.00. "
Remember, its not the color of the belt, or what you learned... but how you have learned it. :D
That incident taught me patience and a new found respect for what I was learning.
Apr 07, 2005 10:54 am I was making a statement for the sake of impact, nothing more, don't take it for any more than that.

Apr 07, 2005 10:58 am lol. your statement and mine were not really linked, aside from the fact that what you said made me think of the incedent. So, I decided to share. sorry.

Apr 07, 2005 12:11 pm i got ran over by my own car once! i had a bad connection to my battery (easy to work around) and i let this chick (who has never started a stick shift) help me out. i thought it'd be funny to see her pop the clutch and stall it out. so there i was standing infront of my car sayin' "ok try now"....sho 'nuff she poped the clutch and i got knocked a good 5 feet back.....
Apr 07, 2005 12:13 pm yikes...I tried to teach one girl how to drive a stick shift...never again...

Apr 07, 2005 12:38 pm I have no problem teaching a girl how to drive stick... but the problem is, they all want to learn in MY car, and ehh, well... anyone that knows me knows that is a BIG nono. Girls who cant drive stick dont need to learn in a 500 HP car.
