USB Style Recording (w/ M-Audio)

Hey guys! New to the HRC community but I've been reading articles and view the board for quite some time now...

If I were to buy an M-Audio MobilePre USB external soundcard and ran it through my USB, of course, into my Adobe Audition (formerly Cool Edit Pro) would I be able to recording to 2 seperate tracks? As in, on input 1 could that go to channel one and input 2 into channel two?
