motu 828 mk + midi

Hi, I might be totally stupid, but i can't seem to find out how to get my midi working.
I use a mac, (1.25 g4, 728ram) os9 and logic 4.7 and then motu 828 mk2.. do I need to find a program for midi? or is it OMS midi?
Please reply if you have ANY idea at all...
