There are not many good free players that dont stop your songs being cached on the end user's pc. This is why Wimpy is good..that and the fact, it has a nice interface which is configurable and is built with Flash.

I dont quite get the Real Play link here, but basically, you can use ANY player to playback i.e. Winamp, MS Media Player, Real Player or any other player - it all depends on whats on the users machine.

As far as streaming online goes, if you want to do it using a standard player ON the users PC rather than on your website, just set up an m3u list....

But Wimpy is by far the best flash player I found for a website to actually put on your site.

Windows Media player is free and has rights management built in it, though I am not sure how to use it...hell it will even stream 5.1 surround!

Good point db.

ye can actually embed the WMP in yer webpage tae...gives ya the player built into yer page. Some code on the MS site will allow ye to do this.

But alas, I still prefer wimpy. But, for a free option, this will work.

I would think ye mean M3U Topman???

If so, this is indeed a list of MP3's as dB says here...
